WOWIO Launches Redesigned Site

WOWIO has launched a newly redesigned version of their website at www.WOWIO.com.

From the press release:

The revamped site features a cleaner layout showing the latest releases and titles and enhances user experience and online reader usability.

“The vast improvements made to the WOWIO site sets us even further apart from other online reader and eBook sites,” said Brian Altounian, CEO and President of WOWIO. “The new site underwent a meticulous process to meet the company’s and customers’ high standards. These upgrades are just the beginning of what WOWIO will be doing to stay at the height of our game and give users, publishers and sponsors exactly what they desire from WOWIO.”

WOWIO paid careful attention to redesigning various elements of the site providing visitors with a multitude of heightened experiences. A key part of the design process focused on improving the site’s overall aesthetics, enhancing product discoverability, creating greater emphasis on the WOWIO reader community, and improving iPad usability.

Specific upgrades to the new WOWIO site include:

·         Updated visual design which shows WOWIO’s commitment, appreciation and respect for the authors and content creators on the WOWIO site
·         Improved search function, library sorting and viewing options allowing readers to find titles much easier than before
·         Larger, prominent and flexible content spaces to enhance promotion of sponsors, titles and publishers
·         More links with social media networks like Facebook and Twitter as well as improved visibility of RSS links, letting readers stay updated with their areas of interest (new books, new comics, WOWIO news, new genre titles, etc.)

“The dramatic enhancements to WOWIO.com amplifies the site’s emphasis on multi-medium availability of titles, allowing content to be downloaded and read on any device including the iPad,” added Altounian. “Keeping up with the latest eBook technologies will allow us to stay at the forefront of the eBook space for years to come.”
