Buzzboy Pencils by the great Mike Wieringo

Buzzboy Pencils by the great Mike WieringoThe Comic Book Diner has posted:

Art rewind today, folks:Mike Wieringo was a friend to Jamar, Rich, and myself, and he was taken from us waaaay too early a few years ago. As far as I know, Mike was never really demanding when he signed contracts with the big comics companies– but he did have one stipulation: He could create art for small press books if he wanted. And he did: for Scott Kurtz’ PvP comic, for Scott Sava’s Dreamland Chronicles, and luckilly for me– Buzzboy: Sidekicks Rule #1.

Mike was such a great guy that he drew the cover (which Rich Faber then masterfully inked) with 102 fever, and a terrible cold, just because he knew I was under deadline. Mike, thanks buddy, you were, and are, and inspiration.
