Celebrate Batman Day 2018 With DC Digital Deals, Batman: White Knight #1 And More

September 15th marks the fifth annual Batman Day with DC offering retailers a reprint of Batman: White Knight #1, to include a preview of upcoming DC Black Label title Batman: Damned by Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo. For younger fans, DC will also be giving out copies of Batman: A Lot Of Li’l Gotham and there are links on the DC website for activity kits consisting of colouring-in pictures, cut-out masks and more. Check them out here. Or, download them for your own kids ahead of the day. The activity pack is pretty big, and will keep your rug rats busy for a while. Well, long enough for you to read your haul of comics, at least.
Digital readers will get the chance to celebrate The Dark Knight with the Batman Day digital sale from September 11-17. The event will include hundreds of Batman eBooks on sale for $4.99 or $5.99 on ReadDC.com, comiXology.com, Google Play, Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook and iTunes. Y’know, the usual places.
Alongside comic book stores, DC are rolling out this initiative to bookstores too, thanks to their publishing partners such as such as HarperCollins and Random House Children’s Books.
Quite a lot on offer, whether in-store or online.
Call it an appetizer for 2019, Batman’s 80th Birthday and the publication of Detective Comics #1000.
