Miles Meets The Others In An Extended Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Sneak Peak

Sony has released an extended international sneak peak of the upcoming Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse. In it, Miles (Shameik Moore) discovers he’s not the only Spider-Man in the far reaches of the Multi-verse. There ar other Peter Parkers (Jake Johnson), for example, Gwen Stacys (Hailee Steinfeld) who were bit instead of Peter, mysteries like Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage), children like Peni Parker (Kimiko Glenn) and even the legendary Spider-Ham (John Mulaney). Miles also discovers each have unique powers, including his own newfound ability to turn himself invisible.
This clips does a lot to redeem the picture after the scene at the end of Venom shook my faith in it. It still looks unique and the choice of spider-themed characters is inspired, but the post-credit scene dragged in inappropriate ways. Then again, that might just have been due to its place at the end of Venom‘s credits. Hopefully, the film will be more energetic, like this clip, instead.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse opens on December 14th.
