Season 2 of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Confirmed

One of the most popular anime of the Winter 2017 anime season was Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. If you’re one of the people who loved watching the misadventures of Tohru the dragon maid, Kobayashi the maid loving office worker, and Kanna the adorable baby dragon, it’s time to get excited – Season 2 has been officially announced!

So far, little about the new season is known. There’s no release date, no projected number of episodes, no information about whether it will stick close the manga or how much it will cover if so, and no confirmation that Kyoto Animation will once again take the helm. We don’t even know whether Kobayashi and Tohru are finally going to kiss. All that’s known is that the story is continuing.

If you just can’t wait, there’s more to the story than just the first season. There’s the original manga by Cool-you Shinja, which aired in Monthly Action and has is about to end after a six-year run.
