It’s A Race To Hook Labs In Rocko’s Modern Afterlife #3 First Look

Rocko’s Modern Afterlife has been so delightfully weird and hilarious so I was pretty excited when publisher Boom! Studios shared an early sneak peek of issue #3, due out next week. Written by Anthony Burch and illustrated by Mattia Di Meo, the issue follows Rocko as he tries to navigate the zombie outbreak that’s taken over O-Town.
Rocko is having a hard enough time trying to survive the zombie outbreak on his own, but now he’s got to save his buddies Filbert and Heffer. To make matters worse, Heffer’s been bitten by the zombies. It’s only a matter of time before he becomes another mindless, ravaging citizen of O-Town. Heffer’s only hope lies in a potential cure at Hook Labs. Rocko has to get his friend there but he doesn’t actually know where it is.
Rocko’s Modern Afterlife #3 will feature a main cover by Ian McGinty and a variant by Joey McCormick. It’s set for release on June 5th, 2019.
