Annecy 2019: Zero Impunity Speaks Clearly About The Unspeakable

At the Annecy International Animation Festival I had the opportunity to speak with the directors of the film trans-media film Zero Impunity Nicolas Blies and Stéphane Blies and the animator Denis Lambert (The Breadwinner). Zero Impunity is documentary that sheds light on sexual violence perpetrated in warzones. The film combines video installation, animation, and real stories from the survivors of rape and abuse.
To preserve the authenticity of our conversation, I’ve opted to post this interview as a short podcast rather than transcribing it. It goes without saying that the topics we explore are intended for mature audiences and all opinions are reflective of the speaker.
