A European Vacation For Hellboy – Preview Hellboy And The B.P.R.D.: The Beast Of Vargu One-Shot

Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. are back this week in Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: The Beast of Vargu one-shot from Mike Mignola, Duncan Fegredo and Dave Stewart. Featuring two stories, Hellboy and the team are sent Eastern Europe, and specifically Romania, a country rich in folklore and frightening beasties, too. Check out a preview of one of the book’s strips, ‘The Secret God of the Roma’ and a very sinister looking puppet show.

This first issue in a new era of Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. sees Mignola and Fegredo send Hellboy to Romania for a pair of tales set in a small village with a centuries-old curse and a man-eating monster which culminate in a sinister puppet show and a demigod’s ill-fated dinner.

Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: The Beast of Vargu one-shot was released on Wednesday, the 19th of June from Dark Horse Comics.
