T’Challa Leads The Agents Of Wakanda This September

by James Ferguson

During the current run of Avengers, T’Challa has been building a team of covert ops soldiers in the absence of S.H.I.E.L.D.  This September, he leads General Okoye, the Wasp, Gorilla Man, and Ka-Zar in a new ongoing series to take on vampires, aliens, angry fish kings, and more.  Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda is written by Jim Zub and illustrated by Lan Medina.

In describing the series to Marvel.com, writer Jim Zub says:

Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda is Kirby-fueled Mission: Impossible in the Marvel Universe. It’s over-the-top action and unexpected twists with a cast of characters pulled from strange places in the Marvel Comics canon. This is a strike force of misfits and monsters tasked with defending humanity and that gives me the freedom to tell a huge range of stories—serious and sadistic, epic and emotional.

From the looks of things, there is no mission too big or too small for the Agents of Wakanda.  Whether it’s on this planet or another or even an alternate dimension, they’re ready to go wherever they’re needed.

Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda debuts in September from Marvel Comics.
