by Richard Bruton

Nemesis the Warlock ranks amongst some of the best material there’s ever been in the pages of 2000 AD and there’s now the chance to get your hands on a delicious hardcover collecting the first four books by Pat Mills, with artists Kevin O’Neill, Jesus Redondo, and Bryan Talbot.

Rebellion announced the limited edition hardcover collection, Nemesis the Warlock: The Early Heresies this week. But you need to act quickly, it’s limited to just 250 English language copies and available exclusively through the 2000 AD webstore.

The book’s been produced in conjunction with 2000 AD’s licensed publisher in France, Delirium and is a beautiful, hardcover, with pages larger than the previous versions allowing the aert to absolutely shine.

Inside, you’ll find an introduction by Mills with afterword by O’Neill, and the first four books of Nemesis, including the earliest tales; Terror Tube (2000 AD Prog 167) and Killer Watt (2000 AD Prog 178), plus The Sword Sinister (2000 AD Sci-Fi Special 1981), The Secret Life of the Blitzspear (2000 AD Annual 1983), and a 16-page cover gallery.

As any fan salivating at the prospect of this beauty will know, Nemesis the Warlock is an alien freedom fighter of the future, locked in a fierce battle with Torquemada, the definition of evil, leading the remains of the human race on Earth, now renamed Termight. Torquemada’s mission is to purge the galaxy of all alien race and punish all he sees as ‘deviants’.

It’s a series of incredible imagination and equally out there and wonderful artwork. And as a special treat for you, here’s a glimpse of all you’ll find inside…
