Mutantkind’s Biggest Troublemakers Unite In Hellions

Even though mutantkind is experiencing a utopia on Krakoa, there are still a few troublemakers in their midst. Marvel Comics has announced Hellions, featuring a new and unexpected lineup of outcasts like Mister Sinister, Wild Child, Nanny, Orphan Maker, Empath, and Scalphunter. Psylocke and Havok round out the team to keep these baddies in line…or succumb to their own sinister natures. The series is written by Zeb Wells and illustrated by Stephen Segovia.
Writer Zeb Wells says:
I can’t believe I get a chance to play in the sandbox Jonathan Hickman and company have so brilliantly created. For my money it’s the most exciting game in town and I can’t wait to let this merry band of psychopaths loose in it.
This is one of the reasons why I love the X-Men. There are so many characters that you can make a team unlike any that came before it. Sure, you can do that with the Avengers, but it’s just not the same. Marvel promises more revelations and twists coming down the line with this series.
Artist Stephen Segovia added:
I am HUGE fan of Zeb Wells’ work. The moment I read his Hellions pitch, I was blown away. It’s a new level of mutant stories and I was overjoyed and pumped to begin drawing it immediately. I can’t wait for you guys to see the magic we’re cooking up and I promise you’ll enjoy the ride!
Hellions #1 is set to debut in March 2020.
