Irredeemable Robots: Preview The Kill Lock #1 By Livid Ramondelli And IDW

by Olly MacNamee

There’s a new comic book series debuting this week which, unfortunately, coincides with Christmas Day so maybe not the best week to pick to launch an all-new book. But, we’ll show The Kill Lock #1 a bit of a push by offering you a preview of this new sci-fi story from writer and artist Livid Ramondelli who’s art looks like the type of high quality digital art you see on concept art for Marvel movies. Now that’s something I can get behind. Looks a bit different from your average comic book out there and more akin to something Humanoids would usually be putting out, But they’re not as this one I coming from IDW this Wednesday 25th December, with letters by Tom B Long.

Each found guilty of an irredeemable crime, four robots find themselves banished from their home world and bound together by the Kill Lock—a programming link that means if one of them dies, they all will. Now a soldier, an addict, a murderer, and a child find themselves forced to protect each other while in search of a cure to survive.
