Star Wars Adventures: The Clone Wars – Battle Tales: The New Weekly Mini-Series From IDW

IDW have had success with their weekly running Star Wars series for younger readers in the past with two Darth Vader’s Castle anthology mini-series and so they return to this publishing model once again with Star Wars Adventures: The Clone Wars – Battle Tales by writer Michael Moreci and feature a framing sequence in each issue by Star Wars Adventures regular Derek Charm.
While Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and other Jedi Knights fight against incredible odds, Commander Cody, Captain Rex, and other clone troopers are pinned down for the duration, swapping war stories that feature favorite characters from The Clone Wars animated series, such as Padmé Amidala, General Grievous, and many more!
Featuring artists such as Arianna Florean (issue #1), Megan Levens (#2), Valentina Pinto (#3), Davide Tinto (#4), and Philip Murphy (#5), this new series will be less creepy and more Force woke with more new stories from the Clone Wars era of Star Wars including fan favorites from The Clone Wars animated show too.
