The Next Episode Of ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Takes The Team To Hell

It was only a matter of time before the Legends went to Hell. And as this preview for next week’s Legends of Tomorrow indicates, at least a few are finally headed into Damnation’s flames to confront Astra (Olivia Swann). And while Mick (Dominic Purcell) gets cozy in the infernal fires, Constantine (Matt Ryan) and Zari (Tala Ashe) venture into a hotel full of Encores. But will any of these missions produce the last part of the Loom?
This week’s episode, meanwhile, is just more proof of why Legends is out favorite Arrowverse show. From Zari meeting her former self to Sara’s (Caity Lotz) unabashed love for Supernatural, the show managed to find pathos, comedy, and some genuine tragedy.
In fact, it is surprising how much Behrad’s apparent death matters. Then again, the series went out of its way to make him feel like he’d always been there. And Zari 1.0’s delight in hearing he was alive just made the killing blow, er cut, that much harder to watch. To say nothing of Zari 2.0’s breakdown when she realized he was gone.
Of course, it is possible the Loom will reverse his fate. And, to be honest, we like Shayan Sobhian‘s presence on the show. Not that we’d trade him for either Zari, but he does feel like family. That sensation matters a lot on this show and it may prove his saving grace before the end of the season.
