Super Sunday (Part 1): Preview ‘Batman’ #92 And A Belatedly Delivered Punchline

It feels like we’ve been waiting a lot longer than we actually have for the full official first appearance of Punchline, but finally it’s here in Batman #92, from James Tynion IV, Guillem March and Tomeo Morey. As The Designer plans the greatest heist Gotham has even witnessed, Batman has his hands full elsewhere with The Riddler. Busy, busy, Batman.

But, I still hold the it’ll be The Designer that’s the real new star being born on this highly entertaining and thrilling Batman run, and not Punchline. I can see why Tynion IV has been asked to stay on this title after the big 100th issue. He’s certainly smashing it on this title like I’ve never seen him do before and this reader is very impressed. Add the always impressing March to this too, and you have instant gold!
