DC Comics Gives Us A First Look At ‘Wonder Woman: Earth One Volume 3’ By Morrison And Paquette

by Olly MacNamee

DC Comics have released a decent sized first look at their forthcoming Wonder Woman: Earth One Volume 3 from Grant Morrison and Yanick Paquette. Princess Diana is now queen of the Amazons but cannot rest on her laurels. She must seek out a fighting force of the Amazons greatest warriors to take on Maxwell Lord!
Read on, and enjoy this peek at one of the better books that came out of the whole ‘Earth One’ publishing project. But, with no sign of much else on the horizon, is this a project that is beginning to run out of steam? Wonder Woman will be a great loss to  this publishing initiative that, for me at least, never quite got off the ground in the way it intended. And with Dan Didio gone, will it slowly die out with a. whimper?
Still, I’ll enjoy it while I can when Wonder Woman: Earth One Volume 3 comes out Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from DC Comics.
“Now queen of the Amazons, Diana finds herself venturing through Paradise Island to enlist help from the different clans and assemble the full united force of the island’s legendary warriors for the first time in a millennium. The reason? Max Lord, who back in Man’s World is readying a massive attack on Wonder Woman’s home using his legions of deadly A.R.E.S. suits. For any chance of victory, Diana will need the help of every Amazonian clan. However, not all of them are willing to accept her place as queen—like Artemis and the New Spartans!”
