Kaare Andrews Returns To Comics With A New Teen Hero In ‘E-Ratic’ #1 From AWA Upshot

by Olly MacNamee

This new comic book day sees the multi-talented Kaare Andrews return to comics with his newest creation, E-Ratic. Joining then ranks of other teen heroes such as Miles Morales, Spider-Man and Young Justice, E-Ratic #1 is out this Wednesday 2nd December. And we have a 10 page preview of the debut issue. It looks all kinds of great! Even if these days I’m far too old to relate. That won’t stop me reading this as Andrews is a favourite of mine and it’s always good to see him come back to comics. That’s when he’s not directing for TV that is.

“You’re fifteen years old. You’re suddenly granted incredible powers. Cool, right? There’s only one problem: you can only use your powers for ten minutes at a time. What do you do when you have to save the world but you only have ten minutes to do it? This is the problem faced by Oliver Leif, a teenager who has just moved to a new town, and a new school, and is having a hard enough time navigating classes and his crush before the inter-dimensional monsters started showing up.”
