‘Batwoman’ Tries Gotham Street Racing In A Preview Of Next Week’s Show

With Black Mask’s latest scheme involving some street racers, it’s time for Batwoman to try what she calls “Gotham Drift.” But will working closely with Sophie (Meagan Tandy) give the Crow agent a chance to figure out Batwoman is Ryan (Javicia Leslie)? Also, will Alice (Rachel Skarsten) get what she wants from the Enigma treatment?
It sure feels like the show is ready to write some people out. Julia (Christina Wolfe) is off again to Europe for an extended stay. Jacob’s (Dougray Scott) new problem sure feels like an exit strategy and even Alice’s promise to leave town suggests a big pivot for the show. As always, we’d be happy to see Jacob move on so the Crows can evolve into the Big Bad the show wants them to be. But what would the show look like with out him and Alice? Would Angelique (Bevin Bru) become a full-time cast member?
