Comic-Con@Home 2021: New ‘Robotech’ Merch Fans Can Expect Through The End Of The Year

Robotech made an immediate impression when it aired on television in the mid 80s. Almost 40 years later, the franchise still has a passionate fanbase. And at Comic-Con@Home 2021, there was a whole panel dedicated to showing the latest news and products to those fans.
From Strange Machine Games is the new board game, Robotech Reconstruction. It takes place after the First Robotech War and sees players choosing a faction to take over the world. You can pre-order the game here.
The franchise is getting into the NFT game as they partner with Wax, which separates itself from other companies by trying to develop a carbon neutral NFTs. Their Robotech “product” is a set of digital cards; the first Marcoss Saga set of which is out now. In the future, there will be sets from Masters and New Generation.
Kids Logic showcased a trio of new products including a 1/12 scale Robotech Valkyrie VF-1S cockpit with Roy Fokker, a 1/12 scale VF-1J cockpit, and a 1/6 scale Dana Sterling. All three are up for pre-order.
Arriving soon from MEPTOYS are the 1/48 scale Invid Shock Trooper and Invid Scout.
KitzConcept have some great action figures on the horizon: Lisa Hayes, Dana Sterling and Roy Fokker in 1/12 scale to along go with their Rick Hunter and Lynn Minmei figures.
They also have fully transformable 1/72 scale VF-1S Skull Leader, VF-1J and VF-1J Heavy Armor.
Over at Toynami, their wave 2 of action figures is coming later this year.
Finally, for those who want to relive their favorite moments of Robotech, the entire series has been digitally remastered and will be made available on HD. This September 28th, the collected Blu-ray will be released. Exclusive collectibles will come with the deluxe edition. Also, this fall, the series will be made available to stream on Funimation.
