‘The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive’: The Comic Book Prelude To ‘The Flash’ Movie

The Flash film comes out this November and DC Comics are to publish a prequel three-issue series leading up to its release.

Writer Kenny Porter and artist Ricardo López Ortiz will bring the two worlds of movies and comic books together in The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive, a three-issue monthly series that leads up to The Flash, film from Warner Bros. Pictures.

“In The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive, Barry Allen’s world-saving adventure with the Justice League has driven Central City’s favorite son to become a truly skilled and inspirational Super Hero. But when a new threat by the name of Girder emerges in Central City, Barry turns to Batman for advice on training to master his powers. Under the Dark Knight’s tutelage, The Fastest Man Alive will have to find a way to defeat this metallic menace or be crushed by Girder’s strength!”

The first issue is a 48-page debut issue and is available in comic book shops and digital retailers on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022. The collected tarde paperback will be out October, just ahead of the movie’s debut on November 4th.
