Mind-Blowing Fan Animation– Batman: Broken Promise

Batman: Broken Promise is a fan-made animated short film created by Stephen Trumble. The short has everything one could want out of a Batman story complete with gritty action and grotesque villains. What really stands out is the rough stylized quality of the animation. The motion-comic aesthetic works perfectly for the Dark Knight’s world. The use of high-contrast colors and and heavy shadows make the most the hand drawn visuals. Batman: Broken Promise is an example of when a fan project can look even better than an official release.
