The New York Times Best-selling miniseries We Stand On Guard is going to arrive in trade paperback for readers in April, Image have announced. Written by Brian K. Vaughan (Saga, Papergirls) and illustrated by Steve Skroce (Wolverine, Doc Frankenstein), with colors by Matt Hollingsworth, the series takes place in Canada 100 years in the future when a band of civilians have to defend their land from invasion by the USA.
Wait, that doesn’t seem as far-fetched as it once did, but the fiction may lie in the 100 year post-date. Or maybe an alternative version where the “invasion” is just hoards of Americans looking for a new place to live?
