Guy Delisle Takes His Harrowing Book ‘Hostage’ On Tour In May For Drawn & Quarterly
by Staff
Guy Delisle will be launching his new Drawn & Quarterly book Hostage in May, a non-fiction work which is bound to grip readers. It recounts the true story of a harrowing experience in 1997 for Doctors Without Borders administrator Christophe André who was held captive for over three months in the Caucasus region. Exploring André’s day-to-day survival and the impact of solitary confinement, the book questions what gives human beings a will to survive. The 436 page graphic novel is being published in two color, hardback format.
