5 out of 5 Batarangs! Unboxing: Legion of Collectors, Batman The Animated Series

by Christine Marie Attardo

What’s better than a Funko, DC Legion of Collectors subscription box? One that is filled with a ton of stuff from Batman The Animated Series! I’m not going to lie, I’m not always over the moon thrilled with the themes of the Funko subscription boxes. However, I will say that there is always at least one thing in the box that brings a smile to my face. I enjoy the mystery and variety of the collection. Besides, you can’t really beat that happy feeling you get coming home to collectible toys on your front porch.
WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW!
I was delighted at the sight of Penguin on the box…

From there things just got better with a Joker patch and a Catwoman pin. Does anyone else find themselves accumulating a lot of patches and pins because of these boxes? I have tons.

I’m actually really looking forward to reading the comic featured, The Batman Adventures #1.

Now, onto the good stuff…TOYS! This is the first time I’ve ever seen a Dorbz Ridez and to make it even better, it’s a batmobile!

Drum roll for the POP! Vinyl…

A unique choice! Out of all the Batman characters, I’m not sure I would have expected a Mr. Freeze POP!, but perhaps that’s the point. It’s definitely original and I love the classic design.

To finish, a really cool t-shirt. I took a picture of the design close up because the rest is really a plain black t-shirt. This one is definitely worthy of my nerdy pajama collection.
All in all, I’d rate the DC Legion of Collectors, Batman the Animated Series box 5 out of 5 batarangs! For more information on Funko’s subscription boxes head on over to their website.
