SDCC ’17: The Vikings Booth This Year Is All About Brother Vs. Brother

The History Channel drama Vikings, one of the best medieval-set shows ever to grace the small screen, returned to SDCC this year, culminating in the burning of a Viking ship in San Diego harbor, presumably for Ragnar and the generational change-ups happening on the show.
The Vikings booth at SDCC was impressively constructed like a medieval structure, leading fans in to an interactive video experience where they could place themselves in Vikings scenes. The set itself was decorated with shields and other props, but the banners decorating the booth were very telling, depicting each of Ragnar’s sons as contenders for his kingdom now that he has passed.
A confederation prevailed in the previous season, but coming up, we know that the brothers are going their separate ways.
