As part of their SDCC ’17 slate of announcements, IDW revealed the details of their October 2017 book The X-Files: JFK Disclosure. For fans of X-Files, this is a definitely a moment to think, “They’re finally going there”. It’s the ultimate conspiracy topic in the assassination of JFK and one that we’d all love to be part of the truth that’s out there.

The book is going to be written by Denton J. Tipton and illustrated by Menton3 in what will almost certainly be super-spooky tones.
According to IDW, when Mulder learns the real reason behind President Kennedy’s assassination, he also discovers that his father was involved in the conspiracy. This revelation forces him to decide between the two things he holds most sacred: his family and the truth. “It’s bombshell after bombshell in The X-Files: JFK Disclosure”, IDW warns.
A weird true-to-life fact is that this comic is actually times to coincide with the real-world release of thousands of documents gathered in the investigation of the JFK assassination, so digging through files may be your next favorite hobby.
