A Book About Harry Potter From The British Museum? Yes, Please!

by Christine Marie Attardo

Potter fans are always looking for more, am I right? Yes, well, it might not be a new character centered adventure, but Harry Potter: A Journey Through a History of Magic certainly sounds like it’s worth the read. The book is set to release on October 20th. Look at the pretty cover:

Here’s how the book is described:

An irresistible romp through the history of magic, from alchemy to unicorns, ancient witchcraft to Harry’s Hogwarts–packed with unseen sketches and manuscript pages from J.K. Rowling, magical illustrations from Jim Kay and wonderful and inspiring artifacts that have been magically released from the archives at the British Library.

I am most excited for the unseen sketches and manuscript pages from J.K. Rowling! I adore her as a writer and a human in general. To get an up close look at her process and scribbles is a really cool feature.
The book is available for pre-order everywhere you can imagine. What are you most excited about seeing?
