This weekend is the New Jersey Comic Expo, appearing for its third year as a growing show in the region. Retailers, publishers, and comics pros are making a strong presence at the show, including special guest Gail Simone.
Last year, I attended and was pleasantly surprised by the focus on comic creators, the craft of making comics, and the fun aspects of collecting comics and other geek items. There were not only educational panels but instructional panels on making comics from comics pros, always a win.
This year, the show is back with expanded guests and content, and NJCE has partnered with Comicon.com for a special offer: Comicon.com readers can get 25% off their ticket price for the show. Please note that this is an offer that must be fulfilled by purchasing tickets online.
Instructions on how to redeem that discount are as follows:
2. When the pop-up window appears, click “Enter Promotional Code” in the top right corner of the pop-up window and enter: comicon25
Now you’ll have 25% more to spend on those back issues or signed comics! See you at the show?
