2000AD Christmas Prog Signing At Forbidden Planet, London This December 16th

by Olly MacNamee

We brought you news of this year’s bumper Christmas issue of 2000AD, and now we can announce there will a signing at London’s flagship Forbidden Planet store on Saturday December 16th 2017 from 4pm – 5pm. Expect a long quest I imagine, so wrap up warm. It may be the season to be joy, but it’s also the season of freezing your chestnuts off too, if you’re not careful. And, with David Kendall and Kek-W onhand too, there will be the chance to get your Dark Judges: The Fall of Deadworld GN signed as well.
Appearing in store are a selection of script droids and art droids who will be all well oiled for the day, I imagine. They are, Dave Kendall, Ian Edginton, Clint Langley, Frazer Irving, Kek-W and Rufus Dayglo all of whom are contributing to this oversized 100 page issue, out on December 13th.

Bad Company are hunted men as they search for the truth behind the Ararat war in ‘Terrorists’ by Peter Milligan and Rufus Dayglo; the ABC Warriors are at each other’s throats as Mars descends into chaos in ‘Fallout’ by Pat Mills and Clint Langley; Merlin has awoken and unleashed the Motherless Men in Book 5 of Brass Sun, ‘Engine Summer,’ by Ian Edginton and INJ Culbard; Bill Savage discovers the reality behind the ‘Thousand Year Stare,’ courtesy of Pat Mills and Patrick Goddard; we flashback to a significant Justice Department character in a one-off The Fall of Deadworld story by Kek-W and Dave Kendall; Ace Garp celebrates the festive season in his own unique way, by Eddie Robson and Nigel Dobbyn; the long-awaited tale of what became of Starlord can finally be told, courtesy of Kenneth Niemand and Henry Flint; and lawman Judge Dredd is caught in a fix… Plus much more!

A nice chance to get yourself an early Christmas present or two, or for the comic book fan in your life.
