Resident Alien Returns And Heads To The Big Apple

by James Ferguson

Everyone’s favorite alien/amateur detective is heading to New York City this April. Resident Alien, the series from Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse is returning with a new mini-series from Dark Horse Comics. The comic follows Dr. Harry Vanderspeigel, a stranded alien hiding in plain sight in the small town of Patience, Washington. He serves as the town doctor, but also dabbles in solving mysteries.

The new series, Resident Alien: An Alien in New York, picks up as a startling new mystery catches Harry’s attention, forcing him to leave the quiet Pacific Northwest behind to search New York City. He brings along one of his only human friends, a Native American shaman. This will definitely be Harry’s biggest case yet.
Resident Alien has been a great read so far. It’s a nice blend of sci-fi and mystery with a touch of humor. I’m excited to see the character return for another adventure.
Resident Alien: An Alien in New York #1 is set for release on April 11th, 2018.
