Marc Guggenheim & Andrea Mutti Create New Swords Of The Swashbucklers Comics From Dynamite

You may recall that in 2017, Dynamite Entertainment helped bring Bill Mantlo and Butch Guice’s classic comic Swords of the Swashbucklers to new collected editions.
Now, the publisher have announced that there will be all-new comics created within the same universe arriving in April 2018 as Swashbucklers: The Saga Continues. The series will be written by Marc Guggenheim (X-Men Gold, Spider-Man) and illustrated by Andrea Mutti (Rebels, Pathfinder).
The series will follow the crew of the Starshadow, “a spacefaring pirate ship captained by the charismatic and fearless Raader”.
Guggenheim says:
Andrea and I worked together many years ago on Iron Man vs. Whiplash, and we’ve been conspiring to collaborate again ever since. He was the first name I thought of for this project and has been knocking it out of the park!
Swashbucklers: The Saga Continues #1 will be solicited in Diamond’s April 2018 Previews catalog and slated for release in April.
