What To Expect From Avengers #1 Launch Celebrations In May

Avengers #1 is coming up from Jason Aaron and Ed McGuinness in May, and Marvel will be celebrating that launch in a number of ways through local comic shops.
Along with Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes), Hulk (Jennifer Walters) and Doctor Strange, Avengers #1 is going to reunite Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man who will be working together to save the world from the 2000-foot-tall space gods known as the “Dark Celestials”.
The Avengers: Infinity War film will be released in theaters ahead of the new Avengers #1 and Marvel will be partnering with retailers to hold launch parties. Marvel will also be releasing a free magazine called Marvel Universe, containing comic previews, articles on Marvel’s new #1s such as Avengers, Tony Stark: Iron Man, Spider-Man, Immortal Hulk and more, behind-the-scenes content and concept art, and spotlights on Marvel’s 2018 Young Guns.
Parties are going to feature promotional items including “FIGHT AS ONE” character lithos with renditions of the new Avengers team drawn by 2018 Young Gun Pepe Larraz, special variant party covers by Greg Land, and the following free variants:
