Winn Faces A Deadly Inheritance When Supergirl Returns

It’s been a long while since Supergirl graced our screens. But when it returns, Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) takes center stage as his father, the infamous Toyman, leaves him a deadly inheritance in the form of truly explosive toys and games. But will Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) find herself inside a blister pack and sold at retail as part of the Toyman’s posthumous revenge?
It’s nice to see Winn get a little focus. Between Reign (Odette Annable) and the Legion of Superheroes, the support staff haven’t had too many stories this year. Jimmy (Mehcad Brooks) does have a romance subplot with Lena (Katie McGrath), but he’s been in his Guardian suit maybe once or twice the whole season. And Winn may have outsmarted Brainy (Jess Rath), but the dude deserves a little more screentime. Then again, I might be partial to the People in the Chair on these shows.
Supergirl returns April 16th.
