Fence’s New Arc Gets Covers By Shanen Pae & HamletMachine

Boom! Studios series Fence is starting a new arc with issue #5 and at the same time, a special “Discover Now” trade edition of the first four issues of the comic will be landing in shops for new readers to catch up.
For issue #5, the series will be getting a variant cover by Dream Daddy artist Shanen Pae, in stores on April 18th. The series, from best-selling novelist C.S. Pacat (Captive Prince) and artist Johanna The Mad, brings together the “worlds of teen soap opera with the adrenaline rush of competitive fencing” since its debut in November 2017.

Dafna Pleban, Editor at Boom! Studios says:

 We launched FENCE with a special variant cover by Shanen Pae and as we begin the next arc of the series, we knew we had to have her back for more! We couldn’t be more thankful for the outpouring of support from fans after every issue of Fence and we feel really lucky we get to continue telling Nick and Seiji’s story!

In addition, Boom! Studios have revealed that the main cover for issue #7, issue #8, and issue #9 will be by HamletMachine.
