Leonard Snart Returns For One More Heist In A Preview Of Next Week’s The Flash

There is only one way to recover from the sadness of this week’s episode of The Flash: get Wentworth Miller to make one more appearance as Leonard Snart. And as seen in this preview of next week’s show, the diminished Team Flash will need his help transporting that radiation absorbing meta, who once again threatens the city with his explosive power. Will Snart’s arrival finally put a monkey wrench in DeVoe’s (Neil Sandilands) Enlightenment?
Of course, with any Snart appearance, you have to wonder which Snart you’re dealing with. Is it the old Captain Cold? Snart after his Legends of Tomorrow change of heart? Or is it Citizen Cold from Earth-X? It’s probably the last of those options as it seems the Snart most tailored for Miller’s return during this season’s crossover.
Meanwhile, I’m sad to see Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) go. Back when the character was first announced there was word he might become a regular in season 5; and his arc definitely made it seem like that was the direction things were heading in. But it seems that was dodge to get us to invest in the character; making his end all the more tragic. Of course, I hope there is some way to get him back because the both the character and performer were delightful additions to the show.
