With FOC this Monday, the 21st of May for the first issue of Mark Millar and Olivier Coipel’s eagerly awaited new series, Magic Order, it may be worth sharing the news that Millar has announced there will be no reprints. You either pick up #1, or you miss out until the inevitable trade paperback.
Millar says:
We want to get back to that crazy, exciting time where a first printing really meant something too and create a real collectibility here with NO SECOND PRINTINGS. We love the idea of making this genuinely sought after. So after inventory on the first and only print run is depleted, there will be no additional printings. That said, we’re very, very sure this is going to sell out, especially after you see the book and once you see the multimedia promotion that’s coming over the next three weeks.
Maybe it’s worth having a word with your LCBS and reserve your copy now ahead of its publication June 13th.
Take a look at the teaser trailer for the series, Millar’s first with Netflix.
And, if that’s not enough, here’s a look at the variant available covers too.
