Good news for Earpers! Wynonna Earp‘s July 20th Season 3 debut — which happens to coincide with this year’s Comic-con International: San Diego — will be augmented with a special airing of the new season’s first episode on Monday, July 16th following the channel’s Harry Potter marathon that day.

The new season will see Wynonna and the gang — Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley), Dolls (Shamier Anderson), Nicole Haught (Katherine Barrell), Doc (Tim Rozon) and Jeremy (Varun Saranga) — take on their biggest fears as they fight against Bulshar, the demon who cursed the Earp family, before he destroys the Ghost River Triangle and unleashes his brand of hell on the world at large. Anne of Green Gables star Megan Follows joins the cast Wynonna’s not-so-dead mother Michelle.
Based on the comic book series by Beau Smith and a number of artists, the television series tells the tale of Wyatt Earp’s descendant Wynonna; the reluctant heir of the family’s curse to wipe out 77 revenants before they can kill her. Developed by Lost Girl verteran Emily Andras, the show found a dedicated following very quickly, leading Syfy to renew the program before its second season completed airing over in the summer of 2016. Of course, Earpers are already trying to get that Season 4 renewal secured. Let’s hope it happens.
Wynonna Earp returns July 16th on Syfy.
