Mystery Science Theater 3000 Takes The Riffing To Comics This September

Fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 will soon have more riffing to enjoy as the show expands to a new medium. Dark Horse Comics has announced the aptly titled Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Comic as a new six-issue mini-series beginning in September.
The comic comes from series creator Joel Hodgson and will feature a variant cover by longtime MST3K DVD artist Steve Vance. No interior artist has been announced yet.
Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Comic follows Jonah Heston, Crow T. Robot, Tom Servo, and Gypsy as they enter the 2-D world of public domain comics. I can only imagine what kind of riffing awaits. I’m sure that fans wouldn’t mind an MST3K take on modern day comics too, but that’s definitely not going to happen.
Look for the first issue on September 9th, 2018.
