New Doctor Who Trailer To Arrive On Sunday … At Least In The UK

After what feels like an eternity, Doctor Who will soon be back on our screens and the BBC is ready to use everything in its powers to reposition the show as a can’t-miss event. As an example, UK audiences will be treated to a new trailer for the 11th season during the World Cup final on Sunday. The Corporation also released this rather teasing short video earlier today.
It is currently unclear if the new trailer will be region locked or if BBC America will make it available at the same time for fans in the States, but at least some glimpse of the new season and new star Jodie Whittaker will be out in the wild.
Meanwhile, Whittaker, co-stars Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill, and new showrunner Chris Chibnall will be at Comic-Con International: San Diego on Thursday, where we previously assumed the trailer would debut. But if it appears across the world on Sunday, perhaps the cast and crew will bring some other surprise to their Comic-Con panel. We will, of course, be there for that and hopefully bring you any surprises which may unfold along the way.
