Something Uniquely Personal: Brandon Graham Releases Retrospective Collection With Image

by Hannah Means Shannon

You may know Brandon Graham’s (King City, Multiple Warheads, Island) work best from full-blown comic series he’s worked on, or from his editing work on Island, but his short-form work has spanned decades and he’s also created work in a number of fields. Now, Image have announced, he’ll be releasing “an in-depth artist’s retrospective collection”, Royalboiler, in October.

This collection spans Brandon Graham’s 20-year career and includes select cover work, illustrations, drawings from his work in animation, and assorted art, along with pages from his sketchbook, Image says, also “showcasing influences from all over the globe that combine into something uniquely personal”.
This is a book bound to be jam-packed with interesting work, so mark your calendars and set it up for pre-order with your local shop.
Royalboiler: Brandon Graham’s Drawn Out Collection (ISBN: 978-1-5343-0853-4, Diamond code: AUG180191) hits comics shops on Wednesday, October 24th and bookstores on Tuesday, October 30th. It can be preordered via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Indiebound, and Indigo.
