Action Lab Brings Art Baltazar’s Youthful Creation To The Present Day

by James Ferguson

Art Baltazar has been making super fun comics for ages including the likes of Tiny Titans, Itty Bitty Hellboy, and Aw Yeah Comics. It turns out he’s been hard at work at these funny books for decades. Back in 1986 he created his very first superhero when he was only 17 years old. Originally called Images of Art, these stories and characters are getting a redesign and retelling by Baltazar as Powers In Action, coming in November from Action Lab Entertainment.

Powers in Action features Lynx and his sister Ocelot as they head to the first meeting of their super team. Unfortunately, they’ve got some work to do before they can join the Hero Squadron where they’ll stand beside Suplex, Eclipse, the alien Enormus, and their leader Moon.

I am all in for Powers In Action. Baltazar makes fun all-ages comics and this looks no different. This is planned as a four-issue mini-series to start and I certainly hope this is just the beginning. Look for the first issue of Powers in Action on November 28th, 2018.
