This Year’s Gobelins Animated Shorts Are So Epic They Released A Trailer

Gobelins L’ecole de image is a Paris-based animation school. The school’s reputation has attracted animation students from all over the world. For animation fans, Gobelins is most known for their graduation films and animated short content produced for the Annecy International Animation Festival. I have written on several occasions about Gobelins and how Euromation is going to blow everyone away if given the chance. Apparently, I’m not the only one who has hyped for Gobelins content, because the school just released a trailer for their upcoming graduation films.
While the trailer music is less epic than I would’ve liked, the range of art styles, animation techniques, and types of stories is a great reminder what the medium of animation is capable of. I’ll be diving deeper into the official short films as they are released.
