We’re thrilled to bring you a First Look at the upcoming fourth issue of Black Badge from Boom! Studios, the series that takes us into a dangerous world of black ops espionage in the hands of unassuming-looking boy scouts as they infiltrate foreign powers.
Written by Matt Kindt and illustrated by Tyler Jenkins, with colors by Hilary Jenkins, we’re catching up with Black Badge after a very intense issue #3, where our lads encountered another band of scouts, and now we’re heading to Hawai’i, but you can bet it’s not for a vacation.
Instead, our boys will find themselves gathered on the beach with “scouts from all over the world, ready to do battle”. And equally significant, they’re not even sure who they can trust in this conclusion to the series first arc.
Eric Harburn, Senior Editor at Boom! Studios explains:
We’ve seen the Black Badges travel to all corners of the world as they carry out their top-secret missions; after the events of Issue #3, their attention is now turned back to the homefront as they work to uncover the traitor in their midst. Matt, Tyler, Hilary, and Jim bring the first arc of BLACK BADGE to a close in a way that only deepens the mystery to come — you do not want to miss out!
Black Badge #4 features a main cover by Matt Kindt (MIND MGMT, Dept. H), along with variant covers by Tyler Jenkins (Grass Kings) and Raúl Allén (Wonder Woman).
