New ‘Punk Comics Collective’, Circle Pit Press, Welcomes Ayala And Palicki To Their Ranks
by Olly MacNamee
Formed in August of this year, new kids on the block, Circle Pit Press (CPP), are a “punk comics collective” that has just welcomed two new creators into their swelling ranks. Vita Ayala and Eric Palicki join this indie press gang alongside members Matt Miner, Marie Enger, Ray Nadine, JB Roe, Johnathan Brandon Sawyer and Kelly Williams.
Looking from the outside in, this seems to be in a similar vein to the White Noise boys; a studio of like-minded creators all bouncing off each other and creating comics for publishers far and wide, such as the recently funded GWAR graphic novel from Matt Miner and fellow CPP crew members, Kelly Williams and Jonathan Brandon Sawyer.
We’ll keep our eyes peeled and keep you informed of all developments coming out of CPP. Punks and comics? My favourite two things! How could I keep away from this one?
