Lion Forge Picks Up Danish Noir Series Stiletto

Stiletto from writer / artist Palle Schmidt will be making its way over to the US next year thanks to Lion Forge Comics. The hard-boiled crime noir series, originally released in 2013 will be translated from Danish to English and expanded for its release.
Pallet Schmidt says:
Stiletto looks like a buddy cop movie at first glance, but you’ll definitely be surprised to see where it goes. This is a gritty neo-noir full of twists and turns, corruption, betrayal, and greed. I spent years working on the book, really pouring my heart and soul into the project.
Stiletto is a crime story with a twist. Detectives Alphonse and Maynard are pinned against their toughest adversary yet after the brutal slaying of two police officers who were guarding a material witness. As they did deeper into their investigation, they uncover a leak inside the police department known only as “Stiletto.”

Stilletto will be part of a new storytelling format from Lion Forge that aims to expand the serialized reading experience. The series will be released with three 48-page issues priced at $5.99. The first issue will be fully returnable for retailers.
