Preview Superman #7: Jonathan Kent Certainly Does Some Growing Up
by Olly MacNamee
Superman #7 is out this week from DC Comics, Brian Michael Bendis, Ivan Reis, Joe Prado and Brandon Peterson and it’s a doozy, judging by the cover and the preview pages below. Now aged 17, Jonathan Kent is finally reunited with his father. With so many questions to be answered in his and his mother’s time away from the homestead and journeying through space, there’s a lot of catching up to do, and plenty of family-time, too.
I must say, I’m absolutely loving this and Action Comics immensely, and only wish it could be a fortnightly title once again. But then, Bendis is rather busy these days with Jinx and Wonder Comics to juggle too. Still, quality over quantity, I suppose. And, waiting so long for each issue does make it something special to look forward to each month. I can live with that.
It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for: the shocking return of the son of Superman! A year spent traveling the stars changed Jon Kent. Are parents Clark and Lois ready for the all-new, all-different Superboy? Secrets are revealed, a new look debuts and Superman’s world is changed forever!
