You Don’t Know Ramen Like Ms. Koizumi Knows Ramen

Dark Horse Comics is breaking into the genre of food manga this September with Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles. The manga debuted in 2013 and has since been adapted into both a Japanese live-action mini-series and an anime series on Crunchyroll. This is the first time it will be published in English.

Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles is written by Naru Narumi. The English version is translated by authentic Japanese chef, Ayumi Kato Blystone. The series follows Ms. Koizumi and her friends as we learn about the ramen culture of everyday Japan.
I have to say that I’ve never heard of the genre of “food manga” but I am very much intrigued. The first volume of the series also include bonus ramen recipes. It will arrive in comic shops on September 11^th, 2019 and at bookstores and Amazon on September 24^th, 2019. It will retail for $10.99.
