Peek Inside Boom! Studios’ WWE Wrestlemania Special

The Road to Wrestlemania runs right through Boom! Studios as the publisher will be releasing WWE Wrestlemania 2019 Special #1, an oversized one-shot special celebrating some major moments in the event’s history. The publisher has shared an early look at the story from writer Andrew Stott and artist Andy Belanger, looking at the match between the Brothers of Destruction, Undertaker and Kane from Wrestlemania 14.

Chris Rosa, Editor, Boom! Studios says:

Pain and destruction reign in this look at the larger-than-life match between Undertaker and Kane at WrestleMania 14. But that’s just a glimpse of the excitement fans can expect from the array of stories presented in WWE Wrestlemania 2019 Special #1.

This is just one of the stories included in this one-shot. Additionally, writer Bill Hanstock and artist Hyeonjin Kim dig into the rivalry between Charlotte Flair and Asuka leading up to their match at Wrestlemania 34. Finally, Ryan Ferrier and Kendall Goode look at Ric Flair’s retirement match against Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 24.

WWE Wrestlemania 2019 Special #1 will feature a main cover by Rahzzah, a pre-order cover by Xermanico, and a variant by Marco D’Alfonso. It’s set for release on March 27th, 2019, a little more than a week before Wrestlemania 35.
