New Care Bears Comics Coming From IDW In July

With a new cartoon series on Boomerang, it was inevitable that the Care Bears would be picked up as a comic book. And that’s what IDW are delivering this summer.
Welcome to The Silver Lining in Care Bears #1 – a mystical realm full of mirth and magic! The Care Bears, along with their pals the Whiffles, protect this realm from the negative influence of the mischievous Bluster and his Bad Crowd! Illustrated by all-ages superstar Agnes Garbowska (My Little Pony, DC Super Hero Girls) and featuring a story by Matthew Erman and Nadia Shammas, the new book will sport two different covers, including a whimsical regular cover by Garbowska and a special variant edition by Tony Fleecs. Look out for the first furry issue this July.
