Chris Weston’s Stunning Tribute To Carlos Ezquerra Is Being Auctioned For Cancer Research Right Now

If you were lucky enough to pick up last week’s 2000AD Villain’s Takeover Special, then you may well have seen this amazing tribute to Judge Dredd co-creators Carlos Ezquerra (1947 – 2018) by Chris Weston. Well, it’s now up for auction with all proceeds from this sale going to the charity Cancer Research here in the UK. Its still got a few days left, but it’s already a four-figure sum at time of writing this shout out.
If you have the pockets, go check it out now, while you still have the time. As you can see, it’s a jammed packed affair and a testament to Esquerra’s output during his life, done with a nod to his particular style but still very recognisable as Weston’s too. Quite the feat.
